The Best of Enemies debuts on Digital June 18 and on Blu-ray and DVD July 2 from Universal PicturesIn a world filled with differences, two of the unlikeliest of people come together for the greater good in the inspirational film, The Best of Enemies, arriving on Digital on June 18, 2019 and on Blu-ray, DVD and On Demand on July 2, 2019 from STXfilms and Universal Pictures Home Entertainment. The film stars Academy Award® nominee Taraji P. Henson (Hidden Figures, "Empire") and Academy Award® winner Sam Rockwell (Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, Vice) and features an incredible supporting cast including Babou Ceesay (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Eye in the Sky), Anne Heche ("Chicago P.D.," "Aftermath"), Wes Bentley ("American Horror Story," "Yellowstone"), Nick Searcy (The Shape of Water, "Justified") and Bruce McGill (Lincoln, "Shades of Blue").


Written and directed by Robin Bissell, The Best of Enemies is a timely drama that centers on an unlikely relationship between Ann Atwater (Henson), an outspoken civil rights activist, and C.P. Ellis (Rockwell), a local Ku Klux Klan leader who reluctantly co-chaired a community summit, battling over the desegregation of schools in Durham, North Carolina during the racially-charged summer of 1971. The incredible events that unfolded would change Durham and the lives of Atwater and Ellis forever.

The film on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital comes filled with meaningful bonus features that includes an inside look into the unlikely friendship of the film's two subjects, the story's modern connection, and more.
