Amcrest Offers Camera Integration with the New Amazon Echo ShowAmcrest has been working with Amazon on an Alexa skill that will provide Echo Show owners the ability to pull up their Amcrest cameras on the device, by simply asking Alexa.

Customers will need to enable the Amcrest skill for Alexa and link their accounts.

The Alexa skill is tied to Amcrest's optional cloud service, and will allow a user to view any camera that has been added to their Amcrest Cloud account. Have someone at the front door? Say "Alexa, show me the front door camera," and the Echo Show will show the front door camera's live video feed in high definition. You'll now be able to watch your Amcrest cameras, without even lifting a finger.

Amcrest Cloud can be used with any Amcrest security camera, and offers the ability to record motion detection clips directly to the cloud. On a free plan, a user can add 1 camera and record up to 4-hours of continuous, motion recorded video. Additional plans start at $6.00 a month per camera for 7-days of storage.

Amcrest cameras connect securely to your home network through a super simple setup process, and allow you to watch what you care about, from anywhere. Amcrest has a variety of cameras ranging from indoor cameras to outdoor cameras, which include features such as pan & tilt, two-way audio, night vision, and more. Alexa compatibility is yet another beneficial feature customers can expect when deciding to purchase an Amcrest camera for their security needs.
