DIRTY JOHN debuts on DVD April 9, 2019 from Universal PicturesBased on the articles and popular podcast Dirty John from Los Angeles Times reporter Christopher Goffard, comes Bravo's DIRTY JOHN, a "slickly addictive" (TV Guide Magazine) true crime series. The critically acclaimed series follows Debra Newell (Connie Britton) as she falls for the seemingly perfect man (Eric Bana) whose charismatic persona holds a terrifying past that threatens to destroy her family. Now fans everywhere can own all thrilling eight episodes of DIRTY JOHN arriving on DVD April 9, 2019 from Universal Pictures Home Entertainment.

Debra Newell (Britton, "Nashville," "Friday Night Lights") seems to have it all: she's successful, beautiful and lives in one of California's most desirable coastal cities, Newport Beach. The only thing missing is love. So when she finally meets charming and handsome doctor John Meehan (Bana, Munich, The Time Traveler's Wife), she's quickly swept into a whirlwind romance, much to the dismay of her daughters Terra (Julia Garner, "Ozark," "The Americans") and Veronica (Juno Temple, Wonder Wheel, "Vinyl"). Their fast-tracked relationship creates tension between Debra and the girls, leaving them no choice but to investigate the stranger who has swept their mother off her feet. And with a fraught family history, the backstory of Debra and her mother Arlane (Jean Smart, "Legion," "Fargo") provides insight into why she may have been so vulnerable to John in the first place. As Debra gets drawn deeper into his lies and sinister game of psychological manipulation, it results in horrific consequences for an entire family.

DIRTY JOHN is produced by UCP (Universal Content Productions), in association with Atlas Entertainment and Los Angeles Times Studios and written and executed produced by Alexandra Cunningham ("Chance," "Desperate Housewives"). The series features an outstanding recurring cast including Jeff Perry ("Scandal," "Grey's Anatomy"), Kevin Zegers ("Fear the Walking Dead," "Notorious"), Jake Abel (I Am Number Four, Percy Jackson series), Judy Reyes ("One Day at a Time," "Scrubs") and Keiko Agena ("13 Reasons Why," "Gilmore Girls") alongside the core cast. The series premiere became Bravo's most watched scripted telecast in the cable network's history, and the show finished its run as a top 10 cable scripted series in adults 18-49 for all of 2018. Winning over audiences and critics alike, the series earned Bravo its first ever Golden Globe Award® nomination in the network's history with Connie Britton's nomination for Best Actress – Miniseries or Television Film. The series also earned two nominations for Critic Choice Awards® (Best Actress in a Limited Series or Movie Made for Television and Best Supporting Actress in a Limited Series or Movie Made for Television) for Connie Britton and Julia Garner. Critics and fans alike agree that DIRTY JOHN is "a mesmerizing miniseries" (Matt Sullivan, In Touch) not to be missed!
