“Aztec Batman: Clash of Empires,” the bold and original reimagining of the Batman mythology through the lens of Mesoamerican culture, will be available in the US exclusively on digital on September 19 and on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-rayTM and DVD on September 23.
From Warner Bros. Animation, Ánima and Chatrone, and based on characters from DC, the all-new animated film places the iconic DC Super Hero against the backdrop of the captivating history of Mexico and immerses fans around the world in the exciting culture of Mesoamerica.
The Spanish audio version of the film features Mexican talent including Horacio García Rojas, Omar Chaparro, and Álvaro Morte. The English voice cast features Jay Hernandez (Magnum P.I., Suicide Squad) and Raymond Cruz (Sons of Anarchy, The Mayans, Better Call Saul).
The film is directed by Juan Meza-Léon from a screenplay by Ernie Altbacker and based on Batman created by Bob Kane and Bill Finger. José C. García de Letona, Fernando De Fuentes, Carina Schulze, Aaron D. Berger, Jim Krieg, and Kimberly S. Moreau are producers.
