 Amazon MGM Studios and Alliance Home Entertainment announce the DVD and Blu-ray™ release of Is God Is, the critically-acclaimed film from director Aleshea Harris. Bring it home on July 28th.Is God Is is Aleshea Harris' directorial debut and is based on Harris's adaptation of her critically-acclaimed stage play of the same name. The play won an Obie Award (2018), Relentless Award (2016), and the Helen Merrill Playwriting Award (2019). The story follows Racine (Kara Young) and Anaia (Mallori Johnson), twin sisters with disfiguring burns. The sisters’ world is upended when the mother (Vivica A. Fox) they believed long dead summons them to her bedside and reveals that their father (Sterling K. Brown) is responsible for her bedridden state as well as their scars. When she orders them to kill him for what he did, the sisters must decide whether to seek vengeance or find mercy...
