| Shout! TV Launches Hong Kong Fight Club Fast Channel, Now Available to Stream 24/7 | ||||||
 Shout! TV, the streaming service of Shout! Studios, a Radial Entertainment company, is proud to launch the brand-new free ad-supported (FAST) channel Hong Kong Fight Club, a tribute to the unforgettable Hong Kong classics that kicked, punched, and exploded their way into film history and inspired a worldwide cult following.The Hong Kong Fight Club channel will showcase a variety of Hong Kong action cinema from the seminal period of the 1980s and ’90s. Renowned for its high-octane choreography, stylized visuals, and emotionally resonant storytelling, its iconic crime thrillers and martial arts epics not only captivated global audiences but also left a lasting legacy on Hollywood, shaping everything from Quentin Tarantino’s signature style to the action aesthetics of The Matrix and John Wick. The curated collection of films includes genre-defining works from directing legends John Woo and Tsui Hark, alongside star-studded vehicles with Chow Yun-fat, Jet Li, Tony Leung Chiu-wai, Jackie Chan, Leslie Cheung, Donnie Yen, Stephen Chow, Andy Lau, David Chiang, and Ti Lung. Programming highlights include Woo’s action masterpieces HARD BOILED, THE KILLER, the complete BETTER TOMORROW trilogy, and BULLET IN THE HEAD, along with Ringo Lam’s CITY ON FIRE, PRISON ON FIRE, and its sequel, and the Jet Li action classics FIST OF LEGEND, TAI CHI MASTER, and so much more. The channel will be available to stream on Shout! TV beginning August 1st. The FAST channel launch follows the announcement of Shout! Studios’ Hong Kong Cinema Classics home entertainment collection, which will release a selection of Hong Kong’s most captivating and cinematic masterpieces on digital entertainment platforms in 4K and definitive-edition physical releases (UHD™ and Blu-ray™). Studios and Hong Kong Cinema Classics are thrilled to bring some of the best of these movies to audiences through the HONG KONG CINEMA CLASSICS retrospective film series at Los Angeles’s American Cinematheque and New York City’s IFC Center this August. This highly anticipated retrospective will continue to tour select markets throughout this fall. Featuring classics from the Golden Princess library by renowned filmmakers John Woo, Ringo Lam, Tsui Hark, and Tony Ching, this series will showcase some of the most vibrant and influential films ever made, newly restored and remastered. Moreover, throughout 2025 and 2026, Shout! will release physical and digital releases of these classics and more for collectors to enjoy at home. Presented by Shout! Studios with support from GKIDS, the inaugural HONG KONG CINEMA CLASSICS film series will include Ringo Lam’s CITY ON FIRE, John Woo’s HARD BOILED (a 2025 Cannes Classics selection), THE KILLER, BULLET IN THE HEAD, A BETTER TOMORROW, and A BETTER TOMORROW II, Tsui Hark’s A BETTER TOMORROW III and PEKING OPERA BLUES, and Tony Ching’s A CHINESE GHOST STORY TRILOGY. Hong Kong Fight Club will be launching on Shout! TV, the Shout! TV app, Plex, and Fawesome on August 1, Roku on August 19, and on the brand-new Hong Kong Fight Club app all throughout August (based on platform availability). The Shout!
