Shark Attack Thriller BEAST OF WAR arrives on Blu-ray and DVD Dec. 9 from Well Go USAA troop of Australian recruits strikes out across the Timor Sea toward battle during World War II when their boat is sunk and a handful of survivors must fend off a giant hungry shark while defending their quickly shrinking life raft in the terrifying shark thriller BEAST OF WAR, debuting on Blu-ray™ and DVD on December 9 from Well Go USA Entertainment.

Written and directed by award-winning filmmaker Kiah Roache-Turner (Wyrmwood, Sting), BEAST OF WAR was inspired by the true story of the sinking of the HMAS Armidale and features great practical effects, cinematography, and character-driven psychological horror.

The film stars Mark Coles Smith (Last Cab to Darwin), Joel Nankervis (“Dark Aradia”), Maximillian Johnson (Fear Below), Lee Tiger Halley (Netflix’s “Boy Swallows Universe”), Sam Parsonson (Hacksaw Ridge), Tristan McKinnon (It Will Find You), and Sam Delich (Christmas Bloody Christmas).

Synopsis:

When their boat is sunk while crossing the Timor Sea during World War II, a young troop of Australian soldiers must find a way to survive the harsh seas on a quickly shrinking life raft. Hundreds of miles from anywhere, they must confront interpersonal conflicts, enemy attacks, and the advances of one very large, very hungry great white shark. From Kiah Roache-Turner, director of Wyrmwood and Sting, comes this uniquely terrifying tale.

BEAST OF WAR has a runtime of approximately 87 minutes and is rated R for bloody violent content, gore and language.
