Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 4 is an at end, but it provided players with some great content in Multiplayer, Zombies and Warzone. Here's our recap of the season...

MultiPlayer

Call of Duty Black Ops 6 Season 4 Multiplayer

Season 4 introduced two standout 6v6 maps: Fringe, a reimagined favorite set at a distillery opening, and Eclipse, an energetic neon‑lit underground nightclub with 2v2 and 6v6 variants. Both maps offered tight layouts and dynamic pacing. The new limited‑time modes like Party Ops and Starting Room added variety and replayability during the CODToons event, though the comic‑strip style and some underwhelming rewards drew criticism for feeling tonally inconsistent with Black Ops' usual grit. Despite that, players praised the weapon meta shake‑ups. This was especially true for the LC10 SMG, which became a go‑to thanks to its outstanding accuracy and precision in sweaty lobbies. Overall the multiplayer felt fast and balanced, with Season 4 events, map rotation, and bundles keeping the lobby excitement high.

Zombies

Call of Duty Black Ops 6 Season 4 Zombies

Season 4 revamped the classic round‑based Zombies mode with the return of Grief Mode, now enhanced with explosive weapon mods, new Arenas, additional GobbleGums, and the powerful Grim Reaper support weapon. This gave the mode a nostalgic yet invigorated feel. Players appreciated the ability to pause or save mid‑round when playing solo and the satisfying combat loop with elemental weapon damage and escalating enemy threats. Community fans noted that the updated Grief Mode encourages staying engaged through higher stakes and better rewards, including whimsical GobbleGums for full match completion. The updates struck a strong balance between tradition and innovation making Zombies more enjoyable than many expected and a highlight of the season.

Warzone

Call of Duty Black Ops 6 Season 4 Warzone

Season 4 Reloaded added a brand new Warzone mode called Havoc Royale, a 44‑player Quads match on Verdansk (Downtown, Airport, Train Station). Each circle brings a random modifier from a pool of seven, ramping up strategy and unpredictability. Resurgence Casual and Ranked play were expanded. Casual Resurgence includes bots for easier entry (though stats don’t count), while Ranked Trios launched on Rebirth Island for competitive players.

Season 4 Events & Battle Pass Content

Call of Duty Black Ops 6 Season 4 Events

Season 4's battle pass featured a colorful mix of operator skins, weapon blueprints, emotes, and themed cosmetics tied to timed events. The Beavis & Butt‑Head event unlocked two new weapons: the Olympia shotgun and a one‑hit kill pickaxe. There were also a wide variety of themed bundles like animated calling cards, emotes, charms, and reactive skins. While some fans found the CODToons aesthetic jarring and rewards lackluster, many appreciated the variety and playful designs intermixed with the traditional Black Ops tone. Personally, the Beavis & Butthead event has been my favorite so far.

Final Thoughts

Season 4 and its Reloaded mid-season update delivered a strong and well-rounded experience. MultiPlayer got fresh maps, modes, and a tighter weapon meta. Zombies regained depth and competitiveness with classic Grief Mode enhancements. Warzone expanded with Havoc Royale, new formats, and survival tools like Care Packages. The battle pass and themed events added flair and value, even if a few of the lighter-tone offerings felt at odds with the series' usual style. Ultimately this season showcases Treyarch's ability to keep content engaging, varied, and fun across all major modes.
