Just in time for tax season, Fellowes is launching the Intellishred(TM) Series, a new generation of 100 percent jam proof shredders.The new series (PS-79Ci, SB-89Ci and SB-99Ci) is uniquely designed to address personal deskside and shared use shredding needs in the home, home office or business setting. The shredders eliminate jams and prevent overloads by instantly calculating the amount of paper being fed into the machine. The proprietary Intellishred technology features a sophisticated sensor that measures the thickness of a paper stack and automatically stops a paper jam before it occurs. Similar to a traffic light which lets a driver know when they can proceed, an indicator light lets the user know when they are nearing sheet capacity. A green to yellow light indicates the user is within paper capacity.
