Skullcandy Elevates Outdoor Audio With Release Of Vert Wireless Earbuds

With a history rooted in outdoor sports, Skullcandy, Inc., the original lifestyle audio brand, announces the launch of Vert: the clip-anywhere wireless earbuds set to re-invent how music can seamlessly integrate into the world of adventure sports. Vert is purpose-built with sport-specific features ready to take on snow, dirt, and everything in between. Taking cues from the convenience of helmet audio, Vert raises the category to a new level with its seasonal versatility, accessible controls, comfort, and premium sound.

“From form to function, Vert was created with adventurers in mind, all the while tapping into our heritage in creating a product that fits how people live, shred, bike, and explore,” said Jessica Klodnicki, Chief Marketing Officer at Skullcandy. “Vert provides outdoor athletes with the soundtrack to their journey, delivering a great audio experience and music they can feel.”

Vert’s innovative form factor is driven by a Bluetooth® powered dial designed to clip anywhere, and onto any gear. The single-button dial-face provides glove-friendly access to features consumers have grown to expect with regular earbuds: call, track, volume control, and the ability to activate a device’s native voice assistant. The hybrid earbuds fit comfortably under helmets and beanies and features a ‘Stay Aware’ design, allowing for ambient background noise to keep adventurers safe and connected to their environments. Vert also features IPX4-rated sweat and water resistance, built-in Tile® tracking, 12 hours of battery life, and Rapid Charge technology—providing two hours of battery life with a 10-minute charge. Vert retails at $79.99 and will be available in Fearless Black.

Alongside Vert, Skullcandy continues to ramp up their Adventure Audio product lineup with just-launched Method Active and Ink’d+ Active. All three products give peace of mind with ultra-secure with FitFin™ ear gels, as well as built-in Tile® tracking technology. Tile is an embedded technology that allows you to track or find your headphones through the Tile app on a mobile device, ensuring you never misplace your product. Each product also features Skullcandy’s Rapid Charge technology, providing two hours of battery life with just a 10-minute charge.

Method Active offers 10 hours of battery life and comes with an outstanding IPX7 waterproof rating for your toughest day—making it Skullcandy’s most durable earbud, able to withstand everything from a light jog to a sweaty trail run. It features a lightweight, collarless design and magnetic earbuds to keep it securely in place when not in use. Method Active retails at $59.99 and will be available in Fearless Black and Elevated Olive.

Ink’d+ Active, the new durable earbud in the successful Ink’d franchise, comes in a wireless, lightweight collared design that is comfortable for everything from studying to working out. It offers 15 hours of battery life and IPX4 Sweat and Water resistance. Ink’d+ Active retails at $59.99 and will be available in Fearless Black and Deep Red.
