Last June, Coast Products began upgrading every product in its line-up. Now, Coast introduces new products with higher levels of quality and innovation, including patented and proprietary features and technology.

New LED flashlights include next-generation optics. The HP7, in a compact 5.5 inch aluminum casing, projects 251 lumens of brilliant light using just four AAA batteries, runs up to 10 hours and has a beam distance of 643 feet. Also new, the powerhouse HP21, has 1,317 lumens, a range up to 850 feet and high, low and strobe modes.

Coast lights include innovations like Pure Beam™ Focusing that produces pure, bright consistency across the entire beam; Fingertip Speed Focus Control™ to focus with just a thumb or finger; the Beam Lock™ System to lock the focus with a twist; and the Cyclone™ Heat Sink System that decreases heat for maximum output and longer LED lifespan.

Keep hands free and have bright light on a project with the new HL7 LED headlamp. A large power switch and easy-to-grip, focusing bezel makes it easy to use, even wearing gloves. Coast makes a full line of emergency LED lighting, including the new EAL 20 lantern with white light, solid red and flashing red functions, providing light for up to 100 hours.

New Rapid Response® blade-assist knives are designed by world-renowned custom knife maker Ron Lake and have the SAT™ (Smooth Assist Technology™) system. They’re safer too, with the patented Max-Lock™ system. They have strong, fiberglass-filled nylon handles, heat-treated, stainless-steel liners and open-frame design. Crafted from 400-series stainless steel, with ambidextrous thumb studs and reversible pocket clips, they’re available in 3-inch and 3.9-inch blade lengths, in a full-edge satin/glass-beaded finish or a partially serrated black blade.

Coast’s Pro Pocket multi-tool has two bright LED lights precisely positioned to light the knife’s tip and the point of the pliers. It uniquely provides access to tools without opening the pliers. Pliers are spring-assisted. Made with 400-series stainless, it has open-frame construction, a full-sized blade and comfortable sure-grip handles.

David Brands, Coast president, remarked, “Our new knives are unquestionably the best we’ve ever produced, possibly the best on the market today. Our new lights have improved output and optical quality, the two most important factors in the performance of flashlights and headlamps.”

Coast’s advanced products are safer and easier to use, while being extremely functional and enjoyable to own. Coast was founded in 1919 to provide quality knives to the workers of the Pacific Northwest. Today Coast produces premium LED lighting products, including flashlights, headlamps and EAL, as well as fine-crafted knives and world class multi-tools. Every Coast product is backed by a Coast guarantee. For more information call 800-426-5858 or visit www.coastportland.com.
