Lacey Chabert (Mean Girls, TV’s “Party of Five”), Jenna Dewan-Tatum (TV’s “American Horror Story”), and Kip Pardue (Hostel: Part III) star in Writer/Director Christie Will’s (A Holiday Heist, Boy Toy) romantic comedy SLIGHTLY SINGLE IN L.A., debuting on Digital, Blu-ray™ and DVD September 3rd from Well Go USA Entertainment. Moving to LA seemed like a good idea at the time, but Dale (Chabert) can’t seem to make things work - at her job, with her friends, and definitely not with men. In a city where hype, hookups, and heartbreak are as common as reality shows, it’s hard for her to find something real. Now she’s caught in the middle of a love triangle with her best friend (Jenna Dewan-Tatum) and a guy from her past (Kip Pardue) - a great guy. Maybe the best guy ever. Sometimes, a girl’s just got to take a leap a faith. And with a little luck, maybe Dale’s L.A. dreams CAN come true. The film also features Haylie Duff (Material Girls, TV’s “7th Heaven”), Jonathan Bennett (Mean Girls, Cheaper by the Dozen 2), Simon Rex (Scary Movie 5, Boy Toy), Mircea Monroe (TV’s “Episodes,” “Hart of Dixie”) and Chris Kattan (TV’s “Saturday Night Live,” “The Middle”).
Synopsis:
Dale Squire (Lacey Chabert) is a hip, quirky, independent single gal living in the glossy city of Los Angeles. After several failed attempts in quasi-relationships, Dale concludes that finding a meaningful relationship in L.A. is impossible. But being anti-social is tough for any young girl in Hollywood. With Jill’s (Haley Duff) frantic wedding right around the corner, Dale finds herself reflecting on the significance of marriage, and the mutual respect needed for a successful relationship. When Zach (Kip Pardue), a successful heartthrob rock star and old friend of Dale’s finds his way back into her life, Dale slowly starts to think that maybe finding love in L.A. is possible - the only problem is that her realization might have come too late, leaving Dale in a silent love triangle, with no way out.
