Director Josh C. Waller (Raze) assembles an all-star cast for the complex crime drama McCANICK, debuting on Blu-ray™ and DVD May 20th from Well Go USA Entertainment. Set over the course of one long, hot day, the mystery follows a narcotics detective who hunts for a seemingly harmless young criminal who knows a damaging truth about the cop’s past. The cast includes David Morse (World War Z, The Hurt Locker), Cory Monteith (TV’s “Glee”), Mike Vogel (The Help, TV’s “Under the Dome”), Rachel Nichols (Alex Cross, G.I. Joe: Rise of the Cobra), Tracie Thoms (Looper, Death Proof, The Devil Wears Prada, TV’s “Wonderfalls”) and Ciarán Hinds (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, TV’s “Game of Thrones”). Bonus materials include a behind-the-scenes featurette, as well as deleted and extended scenes.

Synopsis:
When narcotics detective Eugene “Mack” McCanick (David Morse) discovers that Simon Weeks (Cory Monteith) has been released from prison, he instigates a brutal manhunt, without permission from the Chief of Police (Ciarán Hinds). The frenzy of paranoia and violence that follows pushes Mack and his partner to the edge of the law. The closer Mack gets to his prey, the closer he gets to a secret from his past - one that only Weeks can expose.

McCANICK has a runtime of approximately 98 minutes and is rated “R” for language, some strong violence and brief drug content.
