“In the winter, when it’s freezing outside and all you really want to do is cuddle up inside by a fire, the home environment–both temperature and air quality–becomes increasingly important,” said Ohad Zeira, director of product management for WeMo. “In the past you had to leave devices running all day in order to come home to a comfortable home at night, which is dangerous, wasteful and costly, but with WeMo you can set schedules or program on your way home, creating a cozy home environment only when you need it.” The Holmes Smart Air Purifier with WeMo gives users the ability to control their home’s air quality from anywhere via any smart device. Monitor air quality, adjust fan settings, turn on/off remotely, manage the ionizer, and receive notifications all from the WeMo app. The WeMo app also lets users create a week’s worth of daily run times so the air stays fresh whenever needed without wasting electricity or filter life. When the filters need replacing, the WeMo app sends an alert along with a direct link for reordering, which takes the guesswork out of remembering which size filter to order and makes it easy to always have clean, fresh air on demand. Aside from its embedded WeMo functionality, the Holmes Smart Air Purifier also features state-of-the-art True HEPA filtering capabilities, including an optional ionizer to remove up to 99.97 percent of airborne allergies from the air. It quietly reduces common household odors and provides relief from irritants such as pollen, dust, mold, pet dander and smoke so the whole family can breathe easily. The new Holmes Smart Heaters Enabled with WeMo provide reliable heat for different sized rooms and can be adjusted through the WeMo app from any smart device. Turn off, monitor and adjust the temperature from anywhere, or program a daily schedule so rooms are always at the perfect temperature at the perfect time. Additionally, the Holmes Smart Heaters gives users the added peace of mind of never having to worry if the heater was left on by accident. Available in two sizes (1000 Watt large room and 1500 Watt extra-large room) the WeMo-enabled Holmes Smart Heaters feature four temperature settings: High, Low, EcoSmart and Frost Protect. The EcoSmart setting cycles between high and low to keep the temperature comfortable while helping to save money and electricity, while the Frost Protect setting helps prevent rooms from dipping below freezing by activating the heating element only when the room temperature goes below 40 degrees Fahrenheit.
