Director Zak Hilditch’s (Plum Role) last-day-on-earth road movie THESE FINAL HOURS debuts on Blu-ray™ and DVD May 12 from Well Go USA Entertainment. Selected to be screened as part of the Directors’ Fortnight section at the 2014 Cannes Film Festival, the apocalyptic thriller stars Nathan Phillips (Snakes on a Plane), Sarah Snook (Predestination), Angourie Rice (Walking With Dinosaurs), Jessica de Gouw (“Arrow”), Kathryn Beck (Not Suitable For Children), Daniel Henshall (The Babadook) and Lynette Curran (Japanese Story). An asteroid lands in the North Atlantic and ignites a firestorm of destruction, destroying much of the civilized world. A young man (Phillips) on his way to an end-of-the-world party makes a detour to help a little girl return home before time runs out.

Synopsis:
In this apocalyptic drama, James (Nathan Phillips) is a troubled young man on a mission. He’s desperate to join his girlfriend Vicky (Kathryn Beck) at the ‘party to end all parties’ and numb any feelings as the world comes to an end. On his journey however, James is greeted by a lawless and chaotic city, facing a cataclysmic event that will end life on the planet, and he discovers that getting to where he needs to be will not be easy. Along the way, he saves the life of a girl named Rose (Angourie Rice), frantically searching for her father. Out of options, James invites Rose to join him. Together they discover how they would truly like to spend their last moments on Earth in this world gone mad.
