That is the official description for the Muzen Wild Mini Bluetooth Speaker, now available from MUZEN, which has provided NewTechReview with a unit for review. Inside The Package The Muzen Wild Mini is a 3-in-1 portable outdoor speaker that provides audio playback via Bluetooth 5.0, a low / high flashlight, and an emergency SOS beacon. When you first open it you’ll see a nice cardboard tote that can be used if you’re giving the radio to someone as a gift. You'll also see a very nice hard plastic carrying case. Inside the case, you'll find the Wild Mini cradled in the foam lining of the box, along with an instruction manual and a USB charging cable. The Wild Mini Design Made for the outdoors, the Muzen Wild Mini provides a sporty design that blends in with the environment and is available in three different colors: Grey, Green, and Tan. Its compact body measures a mere 60.8mm x 35.7mm x 77.9mm (L x W x H) and it weighs 248 grams (approximately 0.54 lbs), making it incredibly portable and easy to carry wherever you go. The device is encased in a rugged and sturdy aluminum alloy frame, offering excellent durability against bumps and scratches. The Muzen Wild Mini is also rated IPX5, which means taking it out in the rain is not a problem, however, keep in mind that it's not designed to function under water. We found that using the Muzen Wild Mini is very straightforward, thanks to its intuitive and easily accessible controls. To turn the device on or off, rotate the power button counterclockwise and hold for 3 seconds. Pairing your Bluetooth-enabled device is a breeze – activate Bluetooth mode on your smartphone or tablet and select "Muzen Wild Mini" from the available devices list. It's as simple as that. There's a dedicated thumbwheel for adjusting volume, and playback can be controlled using the Track Switch. Press it to Play or Pause. Rotate it to switch tracks. The Muzen Wild Mini also provides a flashlight (which can be used while audio is playing) that operates in three modes. Long press the power button to turn the flashlight on or off. Short press the power button to change modes. At first, the light operates in the brightest mode. Press once for the lower light mode (to save battery power). Press a second time for the SOS mode, which flashes an SOS signal repeatedly. Press once more to switch back to bright.
