With its Multi-Computer Management feature, the Small Enterprise Series is perfect for small businesses; and, with Mac OS(R) compatibility, they are perfect for multi-platform environments.

Belkin power management software sends proactive alerts during a power outage. Other functions include messaging, diagnostic support, history logs, scheduled shutdowns, and event management. Robosapien - A Truly Intelligent 'Lifeform'

"The future arrives at gadgetshop on 22nd May when the national retailer will be the first to sell the new Robosapien(TM) intelligent, recreational robot. Brainchild of NASA scientist Dr. Mark W. Tilden, Robosapien is a major leap forward in robotic technology using the science of applied biomorphic robotics that enable his walking and movements to appear human. That impressive flexibility is evident as his seven motors let him run and walk at different speeds, performs 180 degree turns, dance, twist, blink and fight.

Feisty, moody and full of personality, Robosapien stands 35.5 cm tall and comes to life at your command through the remote control unit, fulfilling 67 pre-programmed functions including kicking, snoring and farting as well as picking up and throwing things like socks, litter and pencils. He'll do karate moves, a high-five, whistle and dance and has three demo modes. But the real appeal comes with his ability to perform a combination of moves in the order you select - for example walking straight, turning left and shaking hands. His working arms enable him to grab, push, pull, punch and pound while he can also listen and react to what's around him.

His Interactive Reflex System uses six sensors throughout his body. Sensors in his feet detect obstructions and he'll also respond to both touch and sound signals from his environment. He also comes with two types of three-pronged grippers, ribbed for increased traction. He's fun because of his built-in quirks and uses grunts to convey his feelings. Each time he wakes up he'll yawn, stretch and say 'uh-huh' and then he's ready to go. Straightforward to use straight out of the box, Robosapien needs no complex set up and will run on regular alkaline batteries for up to 15 hours. To save battery power he shuts down when he's been idle for 20 minutes." Click here for more information.

EZWatch Pro: Video Surveillance

"Many small businesses and homeowners have long wanted to install video surveillance but couldn't afford to spend thousands of dollars on complicated systems. Now they have an alternative -- one that is easier to use, makes clearer recordings, and costs a fraction of the price of a traditional video surveillance system.

Digital video surveillance is quickly becoming the gold standard for home and office security, thanks to its simplicity, affordability and quality. Systems like the EZWatch Pro by Automated Video Systems, LLC start at under $400 and can run up to sixteen cameras from one Windows-based PC. Cameras can be set to record continuously; only at predetermined times; or when they detect movement. Video is saved to the PC's hard drive, which typically holds up to 60 days' worth of video. Recorded clips are viewable from any PC with Windows Media Player, making remote video surveillance easy.

"EZWatch Pro is one of the most user-friendly but powerful video surveillance systems ever developed," explained Scott McQuarrie, president of Automated Video Systems. "In minutes, a PC novice can configure the recording and operation of the system, easily setting the recording functions, motion detection, playback and remote viewing options for each camera. The EZWatch Pro's smart search feature lets the user quickly review video clips to find an event and then print the image or save the entire clip to a file, hard drive, CD or floppy. It's bringing video surveillance to a whole new market that has needed this capability for a long time." Click here for more information.
